The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for providing high-quality clinical education to nursing staff at the ward/unit level. This includes orientation and transitioning for new nurses, as well as meeting ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver effective clinical education programs
- Develop and implement education initiatives that meet the needs of nursing staff
- Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs
Nursing staff must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, understanding of teaching and learning principles in the healthcare environment, and demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills.
Requirements:- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant Nursing Board
- Relevant clinical or education post-registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in the field
