About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Clinician to join our team as a Clinical Lead in Sexual Harm and Safety. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of clinicians providing specialist interventions to children, young people, adults, and their families who have experienced sexual assault or problematic and harmful sexual behaviors.

The successful candidate will have extensive specialist knowledge in providing culturally responsive, child-centred, and family-focused counselling that is trauma-informed and evidence-based. They will also have a demonstrated understanding of contextual and causal factors for sexual harm and the ability to provide effective time management and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to clinicians providing specialist interventions
  • Develop and implement evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care and intervention to clients and their families
  • Coordinate the Safe Wayz Program, an integrated program providing training, education, support, and clinical interventions to government, non-government organizations, and families
  • Work closely with the Program Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the Sexual Harm and Safety Service
