We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at the Hunter Valley Depot. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, this role will be responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Routine services and maintenance repairs on our fleet of modern trucks, tippers, and pneumatic tankers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in diesel mechanics with prior experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins, and CAT vehicles.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A satisfactory ASIO/Police clearance.
  • A positive attitude towards workplace safety and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in road transport.
