Project Coordination SpecialistRole Overview

This role is focused on delivering effective project coordination to ensure the successful completion of technical Information Communications and Technology (ICT) projects within a Program.

  • Assists with the development and implementation of procurement strategies in accordance with Commonwealth legislation and agency procurement guidelines and procedures.
  • Contributes to financial planning, budgeting, and data analysis to facilitate decision-making.
  • Delivers contract management support including variations, deliverable reviews, and closure administration.
  • Responsible for project administration support including schedule maintenance, risk tracking, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Provides general administrative support including project record keeping, meeting coordination, agreement development, briefs, minutes, and communication support.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, dynamic, outcome-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can break down large projects into discrete work packages from concept to delivery.
