Job Title: Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in solid waste management and infrastructure development, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for various projects, including landfills, landfill gas management, composting facilities, and other related initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering principles to design and develop solutions for solid waste management and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare detailed designs, calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications using AutoCAD software.
  • Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plan and coordinate work, and represent the company at meetings and conferences.
  • Field work performed in varied terrain and weather will be required.
  • Office-based tasks include AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans, and facility diagrams.
  • Business development includes proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry-related conferences/trade shows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of civil engineering design experience is required. Solid waste related experience is preferred.
  • E.I.T. is required, P.E. is preferred.
  • Experience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software is essential.
  • A valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing is required.
