Electrical Service Technician Role

We are seeking skilled electrical technicians to support the Qantas Freight Terminal installation at Western Sydney Airport. This large-scale project involves extensive warehouse electrical works.

The selected candidate will work on a range of tasks, including electrical fit-outs, installations and maintenance of various systems.

  • Installation of Main Switchboards (MSBs) and Distribution Boards (DBs)
  • Extensive cable tray, basket tray and conduit work
  • Lighting systems and lighting circuits
  • Power circuits and submains
  • Installation and connection of a generator
  • Comms cabling: fibre and copper

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualification in electrical services
  • Strong experience with commercial/industrial electrical installations
  • Comfortable working at heights (EWP or working at heights ticket desirable)
  • Safety-focused mindset and commitment to quality
  • Ability to interpret plans and work to deadlines

About the Project

The project involves the electrical fit-out of a large warehouse with very high ceilings. The selected candidate will work on a range of tasks, including installation of MSBs and DBs, as well as extensive cable tray, basket tray and conduit work.

The project also involves the installation and connection of a generator, as well as comms cabling: fibre and copper.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working on large-scale electrical projects, with a focus on safety and quality.
