About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Distribution Centre Training Specialist.

  • Innovative Training: Deliver engaging orientation and induction programs to enhance team member capabilities, drive excellence and inspire others.
  • Capability Building: Support DC labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments, uplifting individual and collective performance against business requirements.
  • Skill Development: Proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with leadership and the Learning Manager.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate training schedule and attendance, ensuring seamless delivery of programs.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working within high-volume, multi-brand DC or Retail environments, driving innovation and creating awesome experiences for customers and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity.
  • Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and labour hire staff, promoting equal opportunities for all employees.
  • Understanding of CoR – (Chain of Responsibility) – Current Legislation, hazard identification/ incident management and investigation.
