The retail industry is transforming into a world-class omni-retailer. We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused logistics professional for our distribution centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering daily operational tasks, including picking, packing, palletising and product inspections, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner within process standards and expected performance levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that your work area is always safe and free from hazards
  • Complete tasks required for the applicable grade classification, which may include picking, packing, palletising, packing goods to or from transport, manual handling equipment operations and inspecting products
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with other team members to support the achievement of team and DC goals
  • Participate in regular training and assessment for DC tasks, ensuring currency with standard processes and procedures

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a distribution centre, warehouse or inventory/stock management area, and be familiar with processing, storage, packing and retrieval/despatch of goods. They should also have:

  • Experience in a DC, warehouse or back of house stock area
  • Retail industry experience
  • Completed safety training for a warehouse or DC environment
  • Experience using pick technology (hand scanners, voice picking units)
  • Experience working with multiple product types and storage requirements
