Right at Home is seeking a dedicated Care Manager to oversee our commercial home care operation in the Far North Queensland region.

This role offers the ideal candidate a chance to utilize their clinical expertise and leadership skills to drive high-quality consumer-directed care for clients. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting with recruitment of care team members, training of care team members, high-level clinical oversight of clients, mentoring of care coordinators, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring that high-quality consumer-directed care is delivered to all clients in accordance with Right at Home policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment and training of care team members to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
  • Provide high-level clinical oversight of clients to ensure their health and wellbeing are maintained.
  • Mentor care coordinators to develop their skills and knowledge in delivering exceptional care services.
  • Monitor operational performance to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality consumer-directed care that meets the unique needs and preferences of each client.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Driver's License and comprehensively insured dependable private vehicle.
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred Skills:
  • Good understanding of Government funding environment for aged care (primarily HCP) and NDIS.
  • Good understanding of hospital discharge environment.
  • Strong commitment to a culture of teamwork, caring, and quality service.
  • Excellent communication abilities, professionalism, and respect for staff, clients, and their families.
