Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Community Hub Coordinator to lead engaging programs, connect with local families, and collaborate with key stakeholders and networks.

This role is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity, 40 hours per fortnight. We welcome applicants who can make a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective community networks and partnerships between key stakeholders in the local area to encourage a positive introduction to school.
  • Ensure that communities and children are involved in the design and implementation of tailored wellbeing programs.
  • Develop a communication strategy to ensure families in the community are well aware of opportunities created and are engaged with hub activities.
  • Ensure integration of hub activities with the range of programs and services in the community.
  • Facilitate consultative mechanisms and procedures to provide effective coordination and collaboration across local, state and federal government funded services.

  • Personal attributes - creative and innovative, culturally aware and sensitive, resourceful and adaptable, reliable and trustworthy, enthusiastic and positive, self-driven and motivated.
  • Stakeholder engagement - can build strong relationships to meet outcomes, works effectively as part of a team within the school, local and national hub leader network.
  • Administration and reporting - project management skills, recording and reporting data and qualitative information, strong organisational skills, good use of technology and IT.
