Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst, Risk Project to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting in Melbourne or Sydney. As a key member of our risk and compliance project team, you will support the delivery of regulatory change projects and work closely with experienced risk and compliance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and evaluate existing operational processes to deploy risk controls and mitigants.
  • Engage and liaise professionally with diverse groups of stakeholders to understand business needs and advise on future state strategies.
  • Gather and process data to identify process performance areas and conduct gap analysis.
  • Design workflow and process strategies to improve business performance and create process reports for approval.
  • Oversee the implementation of revised company processes and workflows, and monitor their efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management within Australia's financial services/APRA-regulated entities, including business partnering roles.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to think strategically to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Strong conceptual, financial, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Data analytics skills using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Experience working in first-line/second-line/operational roles in asset servicing, fund administration, capital markets, or cash payments operations.
  • Good knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Benefits:
