Job Opportunity: Building Compliance Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the ongoing safety, compliance and integrity of our buildings and infrastructure.

This role supports implementing and monitoring SkyCity's critical risk framework, managing contractors, conducting compliance audits and inspections, and providing project coordination support to the Head of Facilities.

The ideal candidate will have facilities, operations or building compliance experience, ideally within high-footfall environments like hospitality, entertainment or retail.

  • Implement and monitor compliance frameworks.
  • Manage contractor relationships, including prequalification and inductions.
  • Conduct audits and inspections across essential services, emergency management and WHS-related infrastructure.
  • Provide project coordination support to senior leaders, including tracking documentation and preparing reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facilities, operations or building compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, Australian Standards and WHS legislation.
  • Proactive approach to engaging stakeholders on compliance best practices.
