About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospitality Service Assistant to join our team at Anglicare North Queensland Limited. As a Hospitality Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our residents and consumers in our residential aged care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent service to residents and consumers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and serve meals and beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure all designated areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, consumers, and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Follow all safe work practices and food handling procedures, prioritizing the well-being of our residents and consumers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food handling and/or housekeeping, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality service, with a focus on resident and consumer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to undertake pre-employment checks, including functional assessment, reference checking, and national police checks.
