We are seeking an experienced Delivery Director to drive agile delivery in our insurance business. As a key member of our team, you will lead cross-functional teams, bridge business and technical specialists, and ensure timely, cutting-edge solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Agile Leadership: Guide Agile teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Delivery Planning and Execution: Oversee planning and delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and Agile principles.
- Delivery Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, maintaining Agile standards and quality.
- Team Empowerment: Enable teams to self-organize, make decisions, and perform optimally.
- Facilitation: Implement Scrum practices, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Obstacle Removal: Address and resolve impediments affecting team progress.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with stakeholders to align on delivery requirements and priorities.
- Resource Management: Optimize productivity of team members, vendors, and consultants.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance delivery processes through feedback and metrics.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track and report delivery metrics and KPIs to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead in Agile environments, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile transformations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid knowledge of technology delivery processes, including SDLC, DevOps, and release management.
- PMP, CSM, or similar certifications preferred.
