Job Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Professional to join our team in maintaining and upgrading Council's infrastructure assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular assessments of roads, bridges, footpaths, and drainage systems to identify defects and assess conditions
  • Maintain accurate records in our asset management databases
  • Analyze inspection findings to prioritize maintenance and renewal works
  • Develop reports with recommendations for asset rehabilitation or replacement
  • Support the development of long-term strategic plans
  • Provide technical input into capital projects and lifecycle costing

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in civil infrastructure, preferably within Local Government (roads, drainage, footpaths, culverts, kerbs)
  • Detailed knowledge of TMR standards and RMPC requirements, or willingness to learn
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Familiarity with asset management systems (desirable) and excellent computer skills
  • Qualifications in engineering, civil construction, project management, or similar (desirable)
