Job Overview:
The Senior ICT Asset Management Strategist plays a pivotal role in leading the lifecycle management of software assets, ensuring seamless compliance, optimal cost-effectiveness and alignment with organisational and government standards.
This strategic position involves providing expert technical guidance and advice to ensure efficient use and compliance of software assets throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and managing Software Asset Management (SAM) activities
- Liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Leading the Software Asset function and team
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess asset management expertise, technical skills, contract management knowledge, engagement skills, leadership abilities and a continuous improvement focus.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience with the ServiceNow IT Service Management Platform
- ITIL Certification or experience in an ITIL environment
- Practical skills in reporting compilation
Additional Requirements:
The successful candidate will create positive and productive working relationships, manage accurate data capture and develop detailed reporting, and demonstrate understanding of software as a service (SaaS) platforms and trends.
