Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead the delivery of a state-wide digital health record infrastructure solution. This critical leadership role will ensure ICT/digital projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing complex and high-impact digital programs that enable better patient care through improved data and infrastructure. You will work across multiple health organisations and vendors, using tools such as project management frameworks, risk tracking systems, and reporting platforms to drive delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of ICT/digital initiatives aligned to strategic goals
  • Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale digital health projects, from business case to go-live
  • Develop risk management strategies and ensure benefit realisation and continuous improvement
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration across the health system

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • SIGNIFICANT experience leading large ICT or digital transformation programs in a complex, matrixed organisation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills to influence outcomes
  • A proven ability to manage high-performing multifunctional teams and embed a positive workplace culture
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, project management or related fields
  • A demonstrated record of delivering digital health or large infrastructure projects in a public sector or health setting
