Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional to support our Finance Operations team. In this role, you will provide expert financial advice and reporting services, focusing on program budget analysis, risk management, and modeling to inform effective decision-making.

You will have the opportunity to leverage a hybrid working arrangement, balancing remote and office work to achieve your goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide sound financial advice, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and prepare financial reports across programs and overheads, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Compile and review budgets and forecasts, utilizing actual performance data and previous budget figures.
  • Coordinate multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs, and preparing reports to maintain our cost accounting system.
  • Liaise with the business to ensure accurate cost allocations and compliance with Cost Principles.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as finance or accounting, coupled with demonstrable finance experience (2-4 years) from a project-based, complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in budget development, financial control, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering.
  • Working knowledge of financial management, reporting, and governance principles.
  • Familiarity with systems like CostPoint (or similar complex ERPs) and OAC/OBI is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
