Primary Care Role:

  • Deliver exceptional healthcare services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality health education and promotion to prevent and manage chronic diseases.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Collaborative Work Environment:

  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Participate in case conferences to ensure consistency and consensus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience providing general practitioner services in primary healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and social, economic, and cultural factors affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is desirable.
