About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Student Learning Support Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing support to students within the school environment. They will work closely with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Plans (IPs) and adjust learning activities as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges. You will also need to have knowledge of inclusive education strategies and be able to provide one-on-one and small group support to students in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.

In addition to your experience and qualifications, we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges
  • Implement Individual Plans (IPs) and adjust learning activities under teacher guidance

  • Knowledge of inclusive education strategies
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate III in Education Support or similar qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Knowledge of inclusive education strategies
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
