Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. We are seeking a dynamic Learning Support Teacher to work within the Learning Enrichment Department, providing educational support to classroom teachers and students from K-6. This role involves collaborating with teachers and developing evidence-informed programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding student learner variability and meeting individual needs of students with learning differences and disabilities.
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in teaching neurodiverse learners and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports.
  • Collaboration with the Learning Enrichment team and classroom teachers to deliver evidence-informed programs.
  • Developing Individual Learning Profiles and administering disability provisions for specified assessment tasks.
  • Communicating with parents and case-managing students identified with additional learning needs.

Essential qualifications:

  • Post-graduate qualifications in Inclusive Education or Special Education or a willingness to pursue such qualifications.

A strong desire but not essential is knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
