Job Title

Learning Support Specialist

A dedicated Learning Support Specialist is sought to provide specialist learning support to secondary students with diverse needs.

The successful applicant will have experience and familiarity with adjustments and disability provisions, with a focus on supporting students with high needs at HSC level. Term 1 commencement, negotiable start in 2024.

As a full-time, 12-month contract with possibility of extension, this role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on student outcomes in a co-educational independent K-12 setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist learning support to secondary students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualised education plans.
  • Support students with high needs at HSC level, including those with disabilities and additional learning needs.

Requirements:

  • NESA Accreditation and WWCC (or eligibility).
  • Working Rights for Australia (including WHV or Skilled Migrant Visa).
  • Willingness to provide supporting evidence and references.
