Job Description

We are seeking an experienced support specialist to join our team in Canberra. The role involves providing administrative support services to our legal teams, including drafting and preparing correspondence, managing incoming correspondence, and organizing meetings and travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and preparing correspondence and documentation
  • Managing all incoming correspondence and producing correspondence without direction
  • Organizing meetings and travel, including reorganizing commitments as needed
  • Manipulating complex documents
  • General accounts, reporting and monthly billing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Broad experience in administration, PA/EA or legal secretarial work, preferably in professional services working with partners or C-level executives
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong document production skills, including version control
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • A proactive approach and first-rate secretarial skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • The ability to work as part of a team and be flexible and adaptable
