Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in the mining sector. The role involves maintaining and improving maintenance planning to maximise fixed plant equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, with a strong background in effective work management processes. They will also have a thorough comprehension of preventative maintenance principles and be able to implement maintenance techniques to ensure high safety, productivity, and reliability of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting planning functionality focusing on fixed plant equipment assets
  • Implementing maintenance techniques to ensure high safety, productivity, and reliability of equipment
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to manage lead times on parts
  • Prioritising work and effectively managing time
  • Forecasting costs for short to mid-term field work
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal customers and key suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, OH&S standards, and site policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance planning, utilising SAP
  • Strategy experience highly regarded
  • Trade qualification
  • Thorough comprehension of preventative maintenance principles
  • Essential experience in fixed plant equipment
  • Strong background in effective work management processes
  • Full working rights in Australia
