Auto Electrician Job Description

Overview: We are currently seeking an Auto Electrician to work on a variety of plant equipment, both mobile and fixed. The successful candidate will be based in our workshop in Mudgee and will be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical components, diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in light and heavy vehicles and machinery, and liaising with clients to understand their equipment needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and service electrical components of plant equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in light and heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Liaise with clients to understand their equipment needs and provide recommendations

We are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of safety procedures, is able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team, and has excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology
  • Driver's license
  • Thorough knowledge of Safety Procedures / WHS Requirements
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
