Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our native mobile engineering squads. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our cutting-edge mobile app. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of innovative, secure, and user-centric mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the entire mobile development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, while ensuring seamless integration with fintech systems and APIs.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards for iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Drive technical excellence and innovation within the mobile engineering team, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile fintech technologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Identify and address technical challenges and roadblocks, working closely with team members to find efficient solutions while maintaining data privacy and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in iOS and/or Android development
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, and Kotlin
  • Solid understanding of mobile development frameworks, tools, and technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies & project management tools
  • A passion for mobile technologies and a desire to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile fintech and user experience
