Our Opportunity

Berry Street offers a Therapeutic Foster Care model providing enhanced carer support and services for children and young people with complex needs and behavioral challenges.

This role focuses on marketing, communications, and carer recruitment initiatives to increase awareness of foster care opportunities and attract new carers capable of providing therapeutic foster care placements.

Key Skills and Experience

This position will be situated in our Foster Carer Recruitment, Assessment & Training team, pivotal in expanding our foster carer resources to respond to regional demand for placement of children in therapeutic foster care.

  • Experience with marketing initiatives
  • High-level interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with expertise in developing partnerships
  • Highly motivated individual with enthusiasm, drive, creativity, and initiative
  • Experience supporting and working with volunteer foster carers
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Foster Care service system

A Diploma qualification in social work, psychology, marketing, communications, or business administration (with a marketing focus) or relevant field is required.
