Therapeutic Foster Care Officer

Berry Street's foster care program provides enhanced support for children with complex needs.

This role will increase awareness of foster care opportunities and attract new carers capable of providing therapeutic placements.

The successful applicant will be responsible for driving marketing, communications and carer recruitment initiatives to support the growth of Berry Street's foster care program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase awareness of foster care opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including carers, community groups and other relevant partners.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality foster care services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a coordinated approach to foster care recruitment and retention.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as social work, psychology or business administration.
  • Proven experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
