The Safeguards Aboriginal Health Worker position serves as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team to deliver primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, culturally sensitive primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individuals.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance consumer care and outcomes within the multidisciplinary team.
- Establish strong relationships with community members through empathetic communication and documentation of care.
- Maintain proficiency in relevant computer programs required for planning, delivering, and documenting patient care, including capacity to learn new software systems.
