Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
  • Delivering evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care.
  • Supervising, delegating, and negotiating with others to deliver quality nursing care.

The ideal candidate will possess recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.


Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized person-centered care.
