Travel Industry Development Executive

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the client base. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with travel agency partners, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Potential Partners Identification: Identify and initiate contact with potential travel agency partners to present our clients services and partnership opportunities.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Sales Presentations and Training: Conduct sales presentations and product training sessions for travel agents and clients.
- Partnership Agreements: Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that drive mutual growth.
- Industry Events: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services.
- Market Trends and Customer Feedback: Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Sales Reports and Forecasts: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agency partners and clients.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Travel Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and industry trends.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience in a travel sales or business development role, preferably within the travel wholesale industry. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Credentials and Tools: Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-Motivation and Results Orientation: Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Travel and Industry Events: Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in the travel industry ideally as a BDM / Sales Rep.
- Industry Network Leveraging: Ability to leverage and convert existing travel industry networks.
- Account Management: Manage and strengthen existing accounts.
- Sales Conversion: Natural ability and confidence to convert a new client through written/verbal, presentations and sales visits.
- Target Driven and Charismatic: Target driven mindset accompanied with an infectious charisma.
