Mental Health Specialist Clinical Education Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team in Broken Hill, New South Wales. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that fosters innovation and excellence in mental health, drug, and alcohol care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Provide clinical teaching and facilitation skills to individuals or groups using the practice development framework
- Assess and evaluate the competence of nursing staff in mental health, drug, and alcohol care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health, drug, and alcohol care
- Current Authority to Practice as a registered nurse with AHPRA
- Holds a relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification or 3 years of clinical experience in mental health nursing and education
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of teaching and facilitation in adult learning principles within the health care environment
