Job Description

The Intelligent Regulation Lead is responsible for leading a team that develops high-quality intelligence and analysis to inform strategic, operational, and tactical planning.

This role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage the team consistent with statutory responsibilities and the strategic direction of the organization. It also involves providing high-level intelligence analysis on complex and sensitive issues, identifying opportunities, solutions, and strategies to address contentious, long-term, and emergent issues.

  • Develop and implement effective communication systems to ensure stakeholders are consulted and information is disseminated as required.
  • Deliver briefings and documentation to clearly communicate findings of analysis to influence executive and committee decision making.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in engaging with stakeholders on difficult and/or sensitive issues.
  • Excellent research, conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex analytical findings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capability to self-manage multiple competing priorities while working to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong data and regulatory intelligence literacy and reporting skills, including structured analytical techniques.
  • Understanding the role of data, intelligence, and information in modern regulatory agencies.
