Service Technician Job Overview

We're seeking a motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a hands-on, mechanically-minded individual with a passion for fitness, you'll work on the installation, servicing, and preventative maintenance of high-quality gym and fitness equipment across Perth and beyond.

About the Role

You'll work alongside an experienced team, learning the ins and outs of our equipment and processes. With time, you'll take on more responsibility in leading projects, mentoring others, and developing into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install strength machines, cardio equipment, flooring, and rigs safely and efficiently
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on a wide range of gym equipment
  • Respond to service call-outs and emergency repair procedures promptly and effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service – representing the organization with professionalism at all times
  • Develop leadership skills – planning jobs, supervising junior staff, and communicating with clients
  • Manage projects – preparing for site installations and coordinating with teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Practical and mechanically-minded with previous trade, maintenance, or hands-on experience (valued but not essential)
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills through structured training
  • Leadership-focused with a desire to grow into a leadership role
  • Customer-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Committed to long-term career development, not just a short-term job
  • Licensed with a manual driver's license (essential) and flexibility for occasional FIFO work
