Senior Employment Relations Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned ER specialist to collaborate with senior leaders and the People & Culture team on a high-profile government project.
About the RoleThis ER specialist role will focus on delivering expert support across the organisation, managing complex cases, coaching leaders, and strengthening ER frameworks while helping the organisation navigate change and embed best practices.
Key Responsibilities include:- Lead and manage intricate ER cases and investigations
- Provide practical ER / IR advice and coaching to leaders and the broader P&C team
- Bolster leader capability in performance, conduct, and workplace behaviours
- Support organisational change processes and resolve employee concerns
- Foster positive relationships with unions and employee representatives
- Partner with the ER Manager to embed best practice ER frameworks and align organisational priorities
A skilled ER practitioner brings both technical expertise and a collaborative style. Confident in navigating employment legislation, guiding leaders, and fostering constructive relationships in a unionised environment, you are pragmatic, resilient, and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance compliance and business needs.
