Insurance Claims Specialist

- This is a key position within our organization, requiring someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and process various types of cases and payments.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of Death Claims, ensuring that all stakeholders receive exceptional service and support.
- Process and manage Death Claims, including Total Permanent Disability (TPD), Income Protection (IP) insurance claims, Death (D) claims, and Terminal Illness (TI) claims.
- Prepare trustee recommendations for approval and demonstrate the ability to review and challenge insurer decisions, including declined claims.
- Develop strong relationships with beneficiaries, claimants, and legal representatives to deliver proactive, solution-focused interactions.
- Experience as a Claims Case Manager, particularly with Death Claims.
- Expertise in Claims Staking and ability to review and challenge insurer decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare trustee recommendations for approval.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with individuals, beneficiaries, and legal representatives.
