We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate employment professional to join our team as a Job Transition Specialist.

This exciting opportunity allows you to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who have suffered an injury at work, helping them to regain their confidence and independence through tailored job support.

As a Job Transition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients who are in the job seeking phase of their rehabilitation. Your key objectives will include:

  • Providing individualised support and guidance to clients, helping them to prepare for new employment opportunities
  • Achieving successful employment outcomes by placing clients into meaningful work and providing ongoing post-placement support
  • Building strong relationships with local businesses, identifying potential staffing solutions and negotiating job trials
  • Assisting clients with resume development and interview preparation
  • Delivering targeted job seeking training programs, tailored to meet the specific needs of each client
  • Career planning, job matching and coaching to ensure clients achieve their full potential

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar field, preferably within a rehabilitation or human resources context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues and employers
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously, as part of a dynamic team, with a flexible approach to workload demands
