Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Therapy Assistant to join our team at Cardinal Care Support Services LTD. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Conducting Therapy Assessments: Work with our allied health professionals to conduct therapy assessments and develop individualized plans to support our clients in maintaining or improving their functional capacity.
  • Support Community-Based Participants: Assist in providing support to community-based participants, including conducting home and community visits, and providing direct client-related activities under the supervision of our allied health professionals.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately and timely document and communicate with our clients, their families, and other stakeholders, including notes, reports, and responses to inquiries.
  • Case Management: Manage and monitor our clients' NDIS plans, identifying the most appropriate services within the community to suit their needs.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to our allied health professionals, including data-entry, information management, reporting, and maintenance of database systems.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Community Services or equivalent/relevant qualification.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the relevant industry, including working with children and adults with disabilities, mental health, and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's License, Reliable car, Valid Police Check, Valid Working with Children's Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and NDIS Induction Module.
