About the Role

We are seeking a Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team at Rapids Landing Primary School. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will work under teacher direction to assist in the education programs and promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in the delivery of planned education programs to assist students to reach their full potential.
  • Provide feedback on education and therapy programs and participate in the evaluation process relating to the achievement of goals in special education.
  • Work collaboratively with staff members to meet the needs of students.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated good organisational skills that will assist in the delivery and development of effective education programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist teachers or therapists in implementing educational programs.
