Role Description

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the rollout of a comprehensive ICT strategy as part of the newly formed ICT Strategy Implementation Office (ICTSIO).

We seek a highly motivated professional to join our team in the capacity of Communications Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with the Change Management and Communications Lead to develop strategic communications artefacts for the ICT Strategy Implementation Office.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and have experience in managing competing priorities. They will also exhibit high-level problem-solving skills and be able to provide effective strategic communication and stakeholder engagement support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop communications artefacts for the ICT Strategy Implementation Office
  • Collaborate with the Change Management and Communications Lead
  • Manage competing priorities to ensure effective communications
  • Engage with military, APS, and external stakeholders
  • Provide high-level, effective strategic communication, event management, and stakeholder engagement support
