About the Role

Our goal is to improve lives and well-being, enabling our ageing and disabled community members to live independently at home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide genuine, compassionate, and personalized care experiences
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship
  • Follow care plans developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
  • Ensure safety and proper use of equipment
  • Accurately complete records and documentation

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Passionate about making a positive impact
  • Self-led with responsibility and accountability
  • Coachable and eager to learn
  • Previous caregiving experience is an asset
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
  • Ability to report client care concerns appropriately
  • Reliable transportation to clients' homes; owning a vehicle is an advantage

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support, Individual Support, Disability, or extensive industry experience
  • National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector)
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
  • NDIS Clearance
