About the Role:

As a seasoned data governance expert, you will be responsible for leading our enterprise-wide data governance strategy. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our data is secure, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and business standards.

This critical role requires strong leadership skills and experience in data governance, risk management, and compliance. You will oversee a team of specialists focused on privacy, metadata, data lineage, and quality assurance.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing a data governance operating model, developing policies, procedures, and best practices for data stewardship, quality, and security.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection laws, identifying and mitigating data-related risks, and overseeing audits and data governance reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, you will implement metadata management and data cataloguing tools, define and maintain data lineage maps, and oversee the development of data quality frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in data governance, compliance, or data management.

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with cloud analytics platforms, strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices, and experience in implementing data stewardship programs, data lineage tools, and master data management (MDM).
