This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading exhibition business in a conference production capacity.

Our client is currently experiencing significant growth and is seeking a talented individual to create the content and vision for their events.

You will be responsible for developing commercially viable conferences, conducting research to explore industry challenges and align with solutions, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and client needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing conference content and vision;
  • Conducting phone research to explore industry challenges and align with solutions;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and client needs;
  • Sourcing and securing industry-leaders to present at conferences;
  • Engaging in quality phone conversations for speaker acquisition;
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Creating insightful and succinct program copy;
  • Managing event logistics on the day of the event.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be motivated and passionate, and have confidence in building relationships through phone communication.

  • Confidence in building relationships through phone communication;
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the team and broader business;
  • Commercial acumen with knowledge of working in the corporate space;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Events experience (desirable);
  • Basic to intermediate sales skills or the enthusiasm to sell something great.
