Career development is at the forefront of Marriott International's approach to leadership development. Our Voyage Global Leadership Development Program is designed to propel recent university graduates on a mentored, learning-inspired journey to prepare them for a successful career.

Voyage takes place at a Marriott International managed hotel, not a classroom, and is offered in 50+ countries. Participants will build upon the skills they developed in school by participating in real-world assignments, hands-on training, and a leadership-focused curriculum.

About the Journey

The program offers a combination of discipline-specific training and leadership development opportunities. Participants can choose from various disciplines, including:

  • Residences

As a participant in the Voyage program, you'll have access to Marriott's senior leaders and coaches, as well as many opportunities to stand out and showcase your skills.

The Experience You'll Gain

Voyage participants learn by doing. They'll be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of a hotel and gain exposure to managing projects and people. Some of the key experiences include:

  • Cultivating customer relationships
  • Being a champion for innovation within the organization
  • Managing projects and people
  • Improving processes and pitching new initiatives through their Voyage project
  • Taking on special projects that draw upon all their training

A Salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year

Destination: Marriott Leadership

Voyage participants are expected to solve challenges, offer ideas and innovative solutions, and collaborate with other participants worldwide. After graduation, they'll be well-prepared to pursue their passion and take on new challenges. Many program graduates are ready to step into a Marriott supervisory or entry-level management role right away.
