The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Lending Associate to join our growing Finance team. As a Lending Associate, you'll be responsible for owning relationships with clients, providing amazing customer service, reviewing loan applications, and overseeing pre-credit functions. You'll also prepare and analyse financial statements, uphold compliance, and maintain data hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Reviewing loan applications and managing pre-credit processes
  • Preparing and analysing financial statements
  • Maintaining compliance and data hygiene
  • Collaborating with our network of 40 financial institutions to secure the best finance outcomes for clients
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Lending Associate
  • A relevant tertiary degree in Business, Economics, or Commerce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including financial statements, tax returns, and balance sheets
  • Familiarity with our key product suite: Home Loans, Commercial & Business Loans, Asset Finance, and SMSF Lending
  • Experience with Mortgage Broking CRM software, such as MyCRM
  • An understanding of the 'three C's' of lending: character, collateral, and capacity
