The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Systems & Software Engineer to support Maritime Sustainment Division with its inputs to Defence ERP Tranche 3 scoping study. This role involves providing support to the MSD response and inputs to the ERP Program Tranche 3 Complex Engineering and Maintenance (CEM) scoping study, collaborating with other projects and SME's to understand Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) and existing Maritime processes, and contributing to recommendations and development of associated artefacts in support of the scooping study.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the MSD response and inputs to the ERP Program Tranche 3 Complex Engineering and Maintenance (CEM) scoping study.
  • Collaborate with other projects and SME's to understand Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) and existing Maritime processes.
  • Contribute to recommendations and development of associated artefacts in support of the scooping study.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering (or other relevant field) and/or requisite relevant industry experience, a current Defence Security Clearance – Baseline (or higher), and skills, knowledge and experience in Defence Navy Logistics and Information (NLIS) Systems, and Maritime engineering and maintenance practices and processes. Additionally, the candidate will have an understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
