About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Bloomberg as a Financial Systems Specialist in Sydney. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering exceptional customer support to clients using our Trade Order Management Solutions (TOMS) products.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Enterprise Sales and Product to influence client usage patterns, ensure accurate responses to inquiries, gather feedback, mentor, and educate new employees, and develop them into future specialists with deep product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer support to clients using TOMS Sell-side OMS products
  • Build and maintain credible relationships with clients
  • Develop and share knowledge of our products and customers' workflows across the team
  • Contribute to sales campaigns and prioritize product enhancement requests
  • Provide valuable customer intelligence to drive product improvements and sales performance
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in a Financial Services or Financial Technology organization
  • Previous experience in a client-facing environment covering Fixed Income OTC markets
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in supporting or using order management or electronic trading systems
  • Knowledge of sell-side markets and an understanding of the full trade life cycle of OTC instruments
  • Ability to communicate well at all stakeholder levels
  • The ambition to take ownership and become a proactive collaborator with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to assist with product testing and project management work
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English
