As a Graduate Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic and innovative team. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join our group of engineers who specialise in subsea engineering.

The Role

You will perform tasks including:

  • Design of subsea structures, riser systems or components from concept through to detailed design level.
  • Analysis of subsea structures, riser systems or components using state-of-the-art commercial and in-house software.
  • Preparation of proposals.
  • Preparation of technical deliverables including reports.
  • Interfacing with clients through technical presentations and meetings.

You will work independently and within teams, supported by and working closely with stakeholders; develop strong technical relationships with our clients; and actively contribute to continuous development of 2H's engineering capabilities and reputation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be eligible to work in Australia (work visa or citizenship).
  • Have 0-2 years of engineering experience.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, structural, naval architecture), mathematics, physics, or similar.
  • Have an aptitude and enthusiasm for carrying out analytical work efficiently.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excel in interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Display a desire to take responsibility and ownership of tasks.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have a desire to develop your career and expertise in the oil and gas industry with potential to branch out into renewables.
  • Previous experience with industry-standard software is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience with society organisations such as Engineers Australia, Society of Underwater Technology and/or University clubs is advantageous.
