About the Opportunity

PICA Group, a leading provider of strata and property services, is seeking a Trainee Strata Manager to join their Cairns team. As a Trainee Strata Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and move into a Strata Manager role with the support and mentoring of senior managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a portfolio of Strata schemes and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Facilitate and attend AGMs and other meetings, ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
  • Prepare budgets, agendas, and minutes with support from other departments, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Interpret legislation and assist in the enforcement of by-laws, showcasing your ability to navigate complex regulations.
  • Maintain insurance, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in real estate or a similar industry, with Strata management experience preferred but not required.
  • A passion for building relationships and anticipating the needs of others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to see problems or conflicts as opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Pride in organizing and planning yourself and others, with a strong attention to detail.
