Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex civil structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive project completion through construction planning/management, project controls, and financial/commercial management.
  • Liaise with key site personnel to ensure effective labour, materials, and equipment allocation.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and execution.
  • Appoint appropriate labour and resources during the project.
  • Prepare, track, and report monthly performance, including financial, program, and HSET.
  • Review project finances and provide innovative solutions to reduce costs or add value.
  • Oversee contract management, identifying commercial claims and entitlements.
  • Manage site plant resource procurement and maintenance.
  • Promote a strong commitment to SRG's Zero Harm culture and work standards.
Project Manager Requirements

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience on concrete structure projects is essential.
  • Certificate III OHS or similar field (desirable).
  • Strong communication and planning skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and maintain relationships.
  • Complex problem-solving using logical rationale.
  • Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and D&A.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Auto CAD, and Jobpac is desirable.
